Hopeful Future

I received a packet today in the mail. It was all my training materials from Dell Computers. I have 5 days to complete all six certification exams and become a certified technician.
Does this mean that I am contributing to society? Has my teenage rebellion finally run it's course? Not likely, but I'm pretty excited to be where I am.
Working at Subway for so long led to me believe that I was wasting who I am in a menial job. A while ago I was talking to a customer about my state of mind at Sub Mart. I used the word demeaning. He quickly replied that no job is demeaning when we are doing it with integrity and honesty. I am not bitter. I quite enjoy it to be honest.
I am blogging now because I feel good about who I am. With my last real summer break coming up soon I feel like so much has happened so quickly. As I try and catch up I will try to blog the most significant aspects of it.

Hmm... Dan as a contributing member of society? Is this the same kid who falls asleep on the couch at 5am in his clothes? ;) Way to go Dan, it sounds like things are going great! Maybe you will inspire others to update their blogs.
